About the Opportunity:
• Job Title: Quality Manager
• Pay Rate Range: $65,000/Year
• Location: Bloomington, MN
• Schedule: 1st Shift Mon-Fri 7:00AM-3:30PM
• Position Type: Direct Hire
Requirements and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Certifications such as CQE, CQM, Six Sigma Black Belt, or Lean Master preferred.
• 4–10 years of relevant experience in quality management or manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of ISO standards and precision manufacturing.
• Ability to read engineering prints and technical documents.
• Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical skills, including statistical and geometric concepts.
• Lifting 50lbs.
• Able to stand and sit for an entire day.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervise Inspection and CMM staff.
• Ensure accurate and reliable inspection methods and documentation.
• Maintain quality control work instructions aligned with customer requirements.
• Oversee traceability of part production and quality checks from first article to shipment.
• Manage vendor certification and performance systems, including reporting.
• Maintain ISO 9001:201 certifications for machining, finishing, and assembly.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and industry standards.
• Coordinate annual external audits and pursue advanced certifications.
• Resolve customer issues with a focus on long-term value.
• Investigate and document non-conformance issues.
• Manage the Corrective Action System and initiate DMRs for non-conforming materials.
• Develop and refine quality system programs to support company goals.
• Provide expertise in improving procedures and work systems for higher productivity.
• Participate in strategic and annual business planning.
• Communicate regularly with the COO on critical quality initiatives.
