Quality Manager - Aerospace

Job Summary:Primary responsibility for establishing, implementing and directing all aspects of the company's quality control program.Supervisory Responsibilities:Inspector(s)Duties/Responsibilities:Oversee the quality management functionCreate and manage processes that ensure the company product/service quality standards are metManage the quality auditsPerform visual and dimensional inspection of various mechanical components and assemblies to close tolerancesPerform first article inspectionsWork with manufacturing, engineering, suppliers and customers on all quality related issuesManage internal audit processCommunicate nonconformance issues to customers and work to resolve themMentor inspector(s)Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent knowledge of quality control principlesWorking knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100 and or NADCAP quality programsWorking knowledge of MS Office and ERP systemsStrong organizational and problem solving skillsExcellent attention to detailExcellent communication abilitiesMust be able to communicate effectively in EnglishEducation and Experience:Bachelor's Degree10 years' experience working in a quality role
