Quality ManagerA leading U.S.-based precision manufacturing organization partners with engineers and industrial customers to deliver highly engineered components on tight timelines and to exact specifications, even in complex and demanding applications.Job DescriptionLead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with AS9100Partner with corporate quality leadership to identify and drive system-wide improvements tailored to each facility and its operationsPlan and facilitate regular management reviews to evaluate QMS performance, ensure effectiveness, and identify opportunities for enhancementOversee the control, review, and updating of all QMS documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper change managementEstablish and maintain quality records that provide objective evidence of compliance, ensuring proper storage, traceability, and retention practicesEnsure quality objectives are defined, communicated, and routinely reviewed to measure and improve overall system performanceLead QMS onboarding and ongoing training initiatives to ensure all employees understand their roles in maintaining compliance and quality standardsManage supplier qualification and evaluation processes, ensuring proper documentation and continuous performance monitoringSupport leadership in assessing customer satisfaction and implementing improvement initiatives based on feedback and performance metricsDevelop and maintain an internal audit program to verify compliance with industry standards and ensure the QMS is effectively executedDrive corrective and preventive actions to address nonconformances and support ongoing process improvementsChampion continuous improvement initiatives by tracking, documenting, and reviewing key quality actions and outcomesOversee preparation and submission of customer-required documentation (e.g., PPAP, 8D, CAPA, IMDS, Certificates of Compliance) and follow up to ensure approvalMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
