Quality Manager

The key responsibilities of the Quality Manager are:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's Quality Management System to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IPC standards, and customer specifications.
  • Manage quality control processes and ensure products meet specified quality standards, using data-driven decision-making and problem-solving techniques.
  • Coordinate and lead internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and industry certifications.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records, reports, and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee supplier quality performance and collaborate with suppliers to ensure product quality and consistency meet company standards.
  • Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective and preventive actions. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Lead, mentor, and train quality assurance staff to maintain high performance and ensure adherence to all quality protocols. Develop and deliver training sessions to employees on quality control best practices.
  • Investigate non-conformities, customer complaints, and production issues; determine root causes and implement corrective actions as necessary.

The successful Quality Manager will have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Quality Management, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment, preferably electronics or a related industry.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards is required. Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, CQE) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of quality control methodologies, data analysis, and quality improvement techniques. Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management software.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
