They emphasize a strong quality culture, strict adherence to industry standards, and continuous improvement, while fostering cross-functional collaboration and hands-on leadership within their operations.Job DescriptionMaintain, update, and continuously improve the AS9100-compliant Quality Management System, ensuring full audit readiness and acting as the primary liaison for internal, customer, and certification auditsOversee all inspection, testing, and product release activities to ensure parts meet engineering specifications and customer requirements, including thorough execution of First Article Inspections (FAI)Lead the corrective and preventive action (CAPA) process, including root cause analysis (e.g., 8D, 5-Why), implementation of solutions, and verification of effectivenessManage Material Review Board (MRB) activities, evaluating nonconforming materials and determining appropriate disposition such as rework, deviation, or scrapCollaborate with procurement to assess, approve, and monitor suppliers, ensuring incoming materials meet required industry and customer standards (e.g., AMS, ASTM)Oversee calibration and control of all measurement and inspection equipment to maintain accuracy and compliance with quality standardsSupervise, train, and mentor quality team members, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and zero-defect performanceMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
