Our client is a food packaging manufacturer that is looking for a Quality Manager to join and lead the quality department. This person will supervise the quality control and quality assurance team and their supervisors, to ensure consistency through the implementation of new quality management systems and processes.
- Serve as the primary quality interface with production, supply chain, and logistics
- Manage and develop a team including across both divisions
- Create quality checkpoints into production across plastic extrusion, thermoforming, and paper lines
- Design and implement a comprehensive QMS
* Must have 4+ years in quality and 3+ years in quality management experience in a manufacturing environment
* Must have experience building or rebuilding a quality function, including QMS design and SOP development
* Must be hands-on and have the ability to communicate with the team and customers on quality matters
* Must have experience managing quality across multiple product lines
