RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  • Provide Senior Level Leadership as the Champion of Total Quality for the Company:
    • Assume the role of a senior leader and advocate for Total Quality within the organization. 
    • Manage an objective process to ensure strict adherence to established Quality policies and procedures.
    • Develop a comprehensive strategy aimed at instilling a Total Quality culture throughout the organization.
    • Create tactical plans and processes specifically designed to educate and train all employees at Gordon on the principles that guide a Total Quality Process.
    • Take responsibility for monitoring behavioral practices and providing objective measurements that will offer clear direction for necessary development and continual improvement of our Quality processes.
  • Set the standard for Total Quality by exemplifying the desired behaviors and attitudes in your own actions and decision-making.
  • Demonstrate integrity, excellence, and a commitment to continuous improvement, serving as a role model for employees at all levels.
  • Encourage positive change by acknowledging and reinforcing behaviors that align with established Quality Standards: 
    • Provide constructive feedback and recognition to individuals and teams who demonstrate a commitment to Total Quality and showcase improvements.
  • Establish a structured approach for continual improvement that involves all levels and departments: 
    • Foster a culture of learning and growth, where employees are encouraged to identify areas for improvement and contribute ideas for enhancing Quality processes. 
    • Implement mechanisms for regularly evaluating and reviewing processes to identify opportunities for refinement and optimization.
  • Develop a comprehensive orientation program for new employees that focuses on instilling a strong understanding of Total Quality principles and practices: 
    • Provide thorough training on Quality policies, procedures, and expectations to ensure new and existing employees are aligned with the organization's Quality objectives from the start. 
    • Organize regular training sessions to reinforce Total Quality principles and practices among all employees. 
    • Develop training materials and resources that cover topics such as process improvement, problem-solving, statistical process control, and effective teamwork. 
  • Provide personal Support to the Operations Teams and Services Teams with your personal assistance when needed to accomplish the completion and shipment of Customer requirements: 
    • Offer hands-on support to operations and services teams, assisting them in meeting customer requirements and ensuring timely completion and shipment of products. 
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to help teams overcome challenges and maintain high-quality standards throughout the process.
  • Conduct Quality Audits throughout the facility to ensure compliance with established policies, processes, and procedures: 
    • Regularly assess the organization's adherence to established Quality policies, processes, and procedures through systematic audits. 
    • Identify any deviations or non-compliance and take corrective actions to address them promptly. 
    • Use audit findings to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in Quality processes.
