Quality Manager

FCS is actively searching for a Quality Assurance Manager for their top client in the Greater Chicago, IL region.

Position Overview:

Quality Assurance Manager will lead and administer all Quality programs in a high-speed, high-volume manufacturing plant. The Manager will function as the SQF Practitioner, lead and enforce Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) procedures, validating processes, and providing customer quality oversight.

Job Requirements:

• Must have a Bachelors Degree, with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Manager/Supervisor, and proven Quality Management System oversight.
• Skilled in utilizing of methodologies of quality assurance and standards, and excellent understanding of data analysis/statistical methods.
• Expertise in RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action), fishbone and 5-whys to help solve problems and prevent repeat occurrences.
• Experience with root cause analysis, customer complaints and supplier compliance.
• Strengths in SQF and SPC (Statistical Process Control), Six-Sigma, Lean Manufacturing or color management or strong ISO background.
• Understanding of HACCP and GMPs.
• Must have a desire for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process and product quality and reliability.
