Job TitleQuality Control SpecialistJob DescriptionMaintain a high standard of internal and external customer service by investigating, resolving, and preventing quality-related issues and complaints. Supervise inspection and testing personnel to ensure strong productivity, accuracy, and technical compliance. Develop, analyze, and interpret statistical data and product specifications to define quality standards and reliability expectations. Provide daily leadership and facilitation during Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) meetings. Establish, document, and maintain quality control standards and ongoing quality objectives. Collaborate with production and cross-functional leadership to align quality objectives with manufacturing processes, optimizing reliability while minimizing cost. Develop, document, and implement inspection criteria, methods, and procedures across operations. Communicate and reinforce the organization's quality philosophy and expectations to key stakeholders. Oversee and support inspection activities throughout all stages of the production lifecycle. Apply Total Quality Management (TQM) tools and methodologies to analytical, reporting, and improvement efforts. Partner with Purchasing and suppliers to ensure the quality and compliance of all incoming materials and components. Define and oversee testing activities in collaboration with Engineering as required. Actively participate in internal continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional teams.
