This role will oversee audits, inspections, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting injection molding and assembly operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with ISO 9001:2015, plastics manufacturing, root cause analysis, and quality systems focused on improving product quality, reducing defects, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

We are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Quality Manager to join our Team! This is a permanent position offering an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to utilize their expertise in Quality Management and drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing processes. The Quality Manager will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our Quality Management Systems, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, and driving improvements using Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and other quality tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems in accordance with ISO 9001.
  • Oversee all quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify and address quality issues.
  • Conduct quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Manage risk assessment and mitigation activities.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.
  • Oversee document control and process validation activities.
  • Develop and track quality metrics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide quality training to staff and stakeholders.
  • Lead quality engineering, planning, and improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement quality procedures, tools, and policies.
  • Oversee Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to address quality issues.
  • Manage quality documentation and assessment activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Management role in the manufacturing industry, preferably in plastics manufacturing.
  • Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and other quality tools and methodologies.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance, quality control, and quality auditing.
  • Experience in root cause analysis, process improvement, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management, supplier quality, and quality inspection.
  • Experience in document control, process validation, and quality metrics.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement quality training, engineering, planning, tools, procedures, and policies.
  • Experience in managing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and quality documentation.
  • Strong understanding of Quality Standards and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
