Job Details

Quality Manager

Our client is a leading manufacturer of smart metering and infrastructure solutions used by utility providers. They’ve been in business for decades and are known for delivering reliable products, strong customer support, and operational efficiency tools to their customers.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mansfield, TX area. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

Position Overview

This role is responsible for leading quality efforts across manufacturing and assembly operations, ensuring products meet internal standards and customer expectations.

What You’ll Be Doing
Maintain and improve the quality management system (ISO 9001 environment)
Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
Partner with leadership on process improvements and efficiency gains
Oversee receiving inspection and quality processes across the supply chain
Analyze trends and initiate quality alerts when needed
Lead efforts around field return testing and failure analysis
Work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and customer teams
Stay hands-on with testing, tools, and product evaluation
Maintain a strong presence on the production floor and support day-to-day operations
What They’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Math, or related field
5+ years of experience in a quality leadership role
Experience in a hands-on manufacturing environment
Strong background in root cause analysis and quality tools
Electronics experience preferred
Comfortable writing procedures and technical documentation
Solid understanding of data analysis and reporting
Ability to work across teams and communicate effectively
Additional Info
Experience with Lean or continuous improvement is a plus
Spanish is a plus
~10% travel
