Lead all quality assurance and quality control activities across manufacturing operations. Oversee inspections of fabricated components, weldments, and assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering and customer requirements. Manage non-destructive testing processes and dimensional inspection activities. Investigate quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and quality procedures. Manage welder qualifications, certifications, and welding documentation requirements. Partner with engineering and production teams to drive continuous improvement and reduce defects.
AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification required. 7+ years of quality experience within manufacturing, fabrication, or welding environments. Strong knowledge of welding codes, standards, and inspection requirements. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and engineering drawings. Experience with non-destructive testing methods and quality management systems. Proven leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. ISO 9001 and continuous improvement experience preferred.
