Quality Manager | Muskegon, MI

Salary Range: $92,000 - $139,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Muskegon seeking Quality Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality management systems (QMS) and procedures.
  • Lead and manage a team of quality engineers and inspectors.
  • Oversee product inspection, testing, and release processes to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
  • Conduct internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints and non-conformances, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.
Recommended Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years of experience in quality assurance/control within a manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management systems.
  • Proven experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
