Quality Manager

WB Industries is looking for a driven and experienced Quality Manager to lead and elevate our Quality and Compliance Department. This role is central to how we operate, ensuring our products, processes, and people consistently meet regulatory requirements, customer expectations, and the high standards we set for ourselves. If you thrive in an environment where continuous improvement, accountability, and hands-on leadership matter, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

In this position, you will plan, manage, and oversee all activities within the Quality Department while providing clear leadership and direction to your team. You'll take ownership of our Quality Management System, ensuring it is fully deployed, maintained, and continuously improved to meet both customer and regulatory requirements. You will lead internal audits and serve as the primary liaison for external audits, ensuring readiness and confidence at every stage.

You'll play a key role in shaping and strengthening processes across the facility, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions that drive efficiency and performance. This includes maintaining compliance with certifications such as AS9100:2016 and ISO 9001:2015, managing safety compliance programs, and ensuring all hazardous waste reporting and regulatory requirements are met.

This role is both strategic and hands-on. You will establish departmental goals, monitor key performance metrics, and ensure your team consistently meets and exceeds expectations. You'll also step in when needed to support critical quality functions, keeping operations running smoothly across the plant. Maintaining strong customer relationships is essential, including managing corrective actions, supporting customer requirements, and sustaining high satisfaction levels and performance ratings.

We're looking for someone who brings a strong analytical mindset and can interpret data to drive decisions. You should be comfortable working with ERP systems, have a solid understanding of quality management and performance improvement, and be well-versed in OSHA and environmental compliance requirements. Strong communication skills are essential, along with proven experience leading teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

This position manages a small team within the Quality and Compliance Department and requires a leadership style that is both supportive and results-oriented. Candidates should have at least five years of experience in quality improvement and risk management, ideally within a manufacturing environment.

This is a fully on-site role, working in both office and production settings. The position requires time on the plant floor, the ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and support operations across multiple shifts when needed. Travel is minimal.

At WB Industries, you'll be part of a team that values safety, precision, and performance. We're growing, improving, and investing in our processes and people-and this role is a key part of that momentum.
