Job Details

We are seeking a results-driven Quality Manager to lead our quality assurance and control operations across all production buildings. This role is critical to maintaining API 5CT compliance and ensuring the delivery of flawless OCTG products to our global customer base. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with hands-on NDT testing and metallurgical lab experience, who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and brings relentless focus to process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of quality control for OCTG pipe manufacturing, ensuring strict adherence to API 5CT standards.
  • Lead ultrasonic inspection operations, hydrostatic testing, and metallurgical lab testing to maintain the highest product quality.
  • Supervise a cross-functional QA team and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Monitor production processes, walking between multiple buildings daily to ensure real-time QA compliance and on-the-ground oversight.
  • Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives based on data analysis and root cause investigations.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and reporting for regulatory compliance and customer specifications.

Required Qualifications:
  • Strong background in ultrasonic and lab testing, with ASNT NDT Level II (or higher) certifications preferred.
  • In-depth experience with API 5CT casing and tubing requirements in an OCTG manufacturing environment.
  • Proven leadership experience managing QA teams in a production-intensive setting.
  • Proficiency in managing quality systems and interpreting technical documentation and testing data.

Key Characteristics:
Willingness to relocate to the Greater Longview, TX area – relocation assistance is available.
Demonstrated ability and interest in high-focus, detail-oriented quality control work.
Physical readiness and willingness to walk approximately 10,000 steps daily, frequently moving between production buildings.
Embodies a “bulldog mentality” – a tenacious, persistent leader who refuses to compromise on quality or results.
