Quality Management System Specialist
My client is a global industrial manufacturer headquartered in Europe and is expanding its footprint across North America, including growth at its Bolingbrook facility and quality team. This site specializes in injection-molded components for the solar and automotive industries. Job Description
- Develop, implement, and manage the company's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 9001
- Lead quality assurance and quality control activities within the injection molding process, including in-process inspections, first article inspections, and final audits.
- Analyze quality data (scrap, defects, customer complaints) to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and tooling teams to improve process capability, reduce variation, and enhance product quality.
- Oversee customer quality requirements, including PPAPs, control plans, FMEAs, and capability studies.
- Manage internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory audits.
- Lead and develop the quality team, including inspectors and technicians.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements related to manufacturing processes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality issues and drive resolution in a timely manner.

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree highly preferred
- 5+ years of quality experience within manufacturing
- Experience with injection molding processes
- Metrology experience (micrometers, calipers, CMM, etc.)
- Sponsorship not provided
