The Quality Manager will lead all quality systems, inspection activities, supplier quality programs, ISO 9001 compliance efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This individual will partner closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to drive product quality, resolve technical issues, develop quality strategy, and lead a high-performing Quality team.

Description

  • Lead all aspects of product quality, inspection operations, and quality systems within a manufacturing environment.
  • Oversee and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring ISO 9001 compliance and audit readiness.
  • Develop, monitor, and improve quality KPIs through data analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage non-conformance programs, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and root cause analysis processes.
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to improve product quality and process performance.
  • Review manufacturing procedures and implement process improvements that enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Lead internal audits, system audits, supplier assessments, and compliance activities.
  • Manage supplier quality performance and drive corrective action plans.
  • Investigate customer complaints and coordinate effective resolutions with cross-functional teams.
  • Prepare and present quality reports, trend analyses, failure analyses, and performance metrics to leadership.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, cost reduction, and operational improvements.
  • Lead quality-related training programs and promote best practices throughout the organization.
  • Partner with executive leadership to establish quality strategies, policies, and long-term objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related discipline preferred.
  • 5+ years of Quality Management experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing quality teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Experience with corrective actions, root cause analysis, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of supplier quality management and manufacturing quality processes.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies; Green Belt or better certification preferred.
  • Experience utilizing ERP systems and quality reporting tools.
  • Hands-on experience with precision measurement equipment, including CMMs, Keyence systems, calipers, and related inspection tools.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while managing multiple priorities.
