Job Title: Quality ManagerLocation: Rockaway, NJZip Code: 07866Start Date: Right Away Job Type: Direct HirePay Range: $120,000 - $140,000Keyword: #Rockawayjobs; #DirectorofOperationsJobs; PRIMARY FUNCTION:Client's Quality systems and procedures satisfy government and customer requirements, and assure compliance of product shipped to contractual requirements. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:* Main point of contact with customers, regulatory, and government agencies on all quality related issues, and audits* Maintain and update the Quality Manual * Control and approve internal procedures* Auditing of Clients for compliance* Responsible for the audit and approval of subcontractors* Manage personnel responsible for quality planning, release of product and raw material, and the final certification of product.* Function as the Management Representative as required by ISO-9001, AS9100* Responsible for ensuring compliance with NADCAP, ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.* Manage personnel performing source inspection, audit, and release of product from subcontract suppliersREQUIREMENTS:* BS minimum, MS, or 5-10 years of experience in quality related functions preferred* Training as ISO9001/AS9100 Lead Auditor preferred* Knowledge or experience required in the following areas: Forge Processes, Metallurgy, NDT Testing, Material Testing, Heat Treatment and furnace qualification requirements, Blue Print and Specification interpretation, SPC, Machining processes, Customer specifications and requirements, Calibration requirements SPECIAL SKILLS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:* Knowledge of Quality based computer systems (NDT, Syteline, QMS)* Good PC skills with Microsoft Office applications, Minitab, CATIA, SmarTeam, and Gagetrak.Software/Tools Used:Quality Management Systems (QMS), NCR/CAPA tracking systems for nonconformance management, Excel for quality data analysis and reporting, SPC tools for monitoring process capability, calibration and inspection tracking systems, laboratory documentation systems supporting ISO/IEC 17025, and blueprint/specification review tools to support product certification and traceability.Belcan is an equal opportunity employer.
