✔ 5+ years’ experience in a quality role in a mechanical manufacturing environment or similar role required (manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, or quality manager)
✔ 3+ year working experience in a quality assurance or similar role within a component manufacturing environment or related field such as medical, aerospace, assembly or machining required
✔ Understanding of CpK, AS9100, IPC, hosted and conducted audits required
✔ Experience using inspection tools, CMM, micrometers, calipers, ID Micrometers, screw gauges, and use of pin gauges required
✔ Strong communication skills with the ability to summarize and present information in a clear, concise and accurate written and verbal format required
✔ Proficiency with various office equipment, computers and various programs including MS Office 365 required and Syteline ERP highly preferred
✔ Ability to produce valid green card or citizenship documentation required
● Analyze quality data to identify trends, drive corrective actions, support continuous improvement, and report monthly KPIs including supplier rejects, failure trends, and customer returns.
● Support supplier onboarding, qualification, and performance improvement by reducing incoming defects, setting pre-inspection expectations, and driving dock-to-stock readiness.
● Execute improvement plans for supplier quality, internal quality processes, inspection efficiency, waste reduction, and risk-based inspection reduction where data supports process stability.
● Independently perform the full Quality Manager role while improving tools, systems, ERP/e-SPC records, data analysis, product knowledge, failure analysis, root cause investigations, and corrective actions.
