Quality Manager
Location: Springdale, OH
Setting/Hours: 100% In-Office | Monday-Friday, 7: 00 AM–4: 00 PM or 8: 00 AM–5: 00 PM

trak group is partnering with a growing organization to find a Quality Manager for this direct-hire opportunity. This is a strategic leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of quality, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement. You'll lead the development and ongoing improvement of an integrated Quality and Environmental Management System, partnering closely with leadership while staying hands-on across the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems across multiple business divisions
  • Serve as the organization's Management Representative and primary liaison with customers, auditors, and regulatory stakeholders
  • Partner with leaders across the company to strengthen processes and drive operational excellence
  • Develop and maintain procedures, work instructions, process maps, and quality documentation
  • Lead internal audit programs and coordinate external certification and surveillance audits
  • Analyze performance metrics, customer feedback, and audit results to identify improvement opportunities
  • Champion Lean initiatives including 5S, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping, and process flow optimization
  • Facilitate management reviews and communicate system performance and risks to executive leadership
  • Drive corrective and preventive actions to closure through cross-functional collaboration
  • Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization
  • Coach managers and process owners while training and mentoring internal auditors

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • 1-2+ years of quality experience, with hands-on experience implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Experience leading internal audit programs or Lean Manufacturing experience a plus
