The Quality Manager will be responsible for managing and improving the quality assurance processes associated with Form, Fit, and Function (FFF) parts and dimensional requirements in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. This includes overseeing quality control procedures, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards, and ensuring that all parts meet the necessary specifications and functional requirements. The Quality Manager will also lead a team of quality professionals and work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Oversee and enforce the quality control processes for Form, Fit, and Function parts, ensuring that all parts are inspected and tested in accordance with specifications and customer requirements. This includes ensuring that parts meet all dimensional, functional, and performance requirements.
Identify and address non-conformance issues by leading root cause analysis and corrective action planning. Ensure that corrective and preventive actions are tracked to closure and that lessons learned are incorporated into future projects.
Manage and ensure compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system across all processes. Conduct internal audits, prepare for external audits, and lead the team in maintaining ISO certification.
Ensure that all the parts meet customer requirements and relevant industry regulations. Handle customer complaints related to quality, provide timely resolutions and maintain positive customer relationships.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve processes related to the inspection, testing, and release of parts.
Maintain up-to-date records of quality metrics, inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions. Generate regular reports for senior management, highlighting quality performance, issues, and improvement initiatives.
Manage and mentor a team of quality lead and inspectors. Provide training, feedback, and development opportunities to ensure the team is knowledgeable and aligned with quality goals and standards.
Manage the Change Control Process to ensure revisions and changes are properly evaluated and documented.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management or a related field or equivalent.
5 years’ experience in quality management in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems, including internal audits and documentation requirements.
Strong understanding of quality tools and techniques, such as root cause analysis, FMEA, SPC, control charts, and corrective action processes.
Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams, driving quality improvements, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Ability to read drawings and prints.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
ISO 9001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor Certification.
Experience with CAD/CAM systems or advanced quality tools.
Prior experience in high-precision industry.
Experience in Acumatica.

Position Overview:
This pivotal role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive quality strategy that ensures the highest standards of AS9100 and regulatory compliance, and product quality. This role oversees all quality assurance functions, manages the quality inspection operations, and collaborates cross-functionally to maintain the integrity of the products from production through to delivery.
Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership:
Provide strategic leadership and guidance in the establishment of product quality standards, quality assurance (QA) programs and quality control (QC) procedures.
Lead the assessment of the effectiveness of established QA programs and systems, identify weaknesses, and assist the business functions in developing and documenting viable solutions and procedures.
Establish and track Quality Objectives to monitor and improve customer satisfaction, product conformity, and on-time delivery.
Team Development & Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing quality team, including engineers, auditors and inspectors.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to uphold quality standards.
Participates in training programs to ensure the team is competent.
Ensure full ITAR compliance across processes, documentation, and employee training.
Compliance and Process Management:
Ensure that QMS processes adhere to AS9100 standards and regulatory requirements.
Oversee all aspects of the AS9100 QMS, including document control, internal audits, corrective actions, management reviews, and external audits.
Monitor, update, and enhance quality metrics to improve overall business performance.
Support quality system changes to stay compliant with evolving regulations and standards.
Management Representative for QMS, ERP, and internal and external audits.
Ensure inspection procedures, calibration systems, and training records are current and effective.
Process Improvement:
Champion continuous improvement efforts throughout the QMS.
Lead the Corrective Action and Improvement Process.
Manage FAIRs (AS9102), nonconformance reports, customer returns (RMA), and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Serve as the primary point of contact for quality audits (customer, third-party, regulatory) and supplier quality interactions.
Work collaboratively with operations, engineering, and production to resolve quality issues and support lean initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 10+ years of experience in a quality assurance manufacturing setting.
Expert level understanding of AS9100 and CMMC requirements.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Must be highly proficient in reading, analyzing and interpreting scientific data and information.
Strong understanding of business processes, compliance programs and audit processes.
Previous experience leading root cause analysis and corrective actions.
