Quality Performance Lead
Are you a systems thinker who loves fixing processes and building culture? We are looking for a Quality Performance Lead to own and modernize our site's Quality Management System (QMS). In this highly visible, collaborative role, you will be the bridge between plant operations and food safety, ensuring audit readiness while driving continuous improvement. If you want to step out of a traditional desk-heavy quality role and onto the floor to make a tangible impact, we want to hear from you!
Your Impact & Responsibilities
- QMS Ownership: Drive the ongoing enhancement of our Quality Management System and CAPA program, prioritizing root cause analysis and proactive prevention.
- Audit Leadership: Steer our internal audit program (SQF, GMP) and serve as the go-to coordinator for external customer and regulatory audits.
- Continuous Improvement: Track and trend quality data, deviations, and customer complaints to implement systemic improvements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure top-tier quality during new product commercialization.
- Mentorship: Act as a key resource for site teams, providing hands-on training and guidance.
What You Bring to the Table
- Experience: 4-5 years in a food or beverage manufacturing quality environment.
- Systems Knowledge: Strong expertise in GFSI-based quality systems (SQF strongly preferred).
- Skills: Hands-on experience with root cause analysis, CAPA, and interpreting quality data.
- Mindset: Ability to influence without direct authority, build structure out of ambiguity, and a willingness to step in and support your team.
- Bonus Points: Exposure to PLM software (e.g., Optiva) and organic/Kosher certification processes.
