Create Wellness is hiring a highly organized, execution-focused Quality Program Manager to own the quality foundation that will power Create’s next stage of scale. This role sits on our Ops team and reports directly to the VP of Ops.

You will be responsible for managing all quality systems, documentation, and processes across our supply chain, including QMS development, SOP creation, product review, testing oversight, and ongoing compliance with regulatory and certification standards (e.g. NSF Certified for Sport, Eurofins testing programs, etc.). You’ll partner closely with our manufacturing network to ensure every lot we ship meets Create’s high standards for safety, consistency, and performance.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable coordinating across internal teams, contract manufacturers, labs, and certification bodies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to keep testing, documentation, and quality workflows moving without needing heavy oversight.

What You’ll Do:

NSF Certified for Sport Program Management

Own day-to-day coordination of the NSF Certified for Sport program across applicable products. Coordinate required testing, sample submissions, documentation, and follow-ups with NSF, internal teams, labs, and co-manufacturers. Maintain certification timelines, renewal requirements, product documentation, and testing calendars, for both existing and new product launches.

QMS and Testing Program Management

Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Establish and manage change control, deviation management, and Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) processes.

OOS, CAPA, and Issue Resolution

Own all quality documentation (batch records, COAs, specifications) and ensure compliance. Support investigation and resolution of out-of-specification results, nonconformances, and quality issues. Work with co-manufacturers to gather relevant batch records, production details, retain samples, and investigation findings. Track corrective and preventive actions through completion.

Testing & External Partnerships

Serve as a key point of contact for quality-related follow-ups with co-manufacturers, labs, and external partners. Partner closely with Operations, R&D, and Regulatory to ensure quality requirements are understood and executed. Support production readiness by ensuring testing, specs, documentation, and certification requirements are aligned before launch. Help maintain strong, organized communication across vendors and internal stakeholders.

Stability Testing

Manage ongoing stability (shelf life) testing protocols across multiple product categories and launch new tests as needed. Responsible for tracking, logging, and actioning data as testing progresses and making strategic recommendations to the business based on project outcomes.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in quality or compliance within dietary supplements, food, beverage, consumer health, or a related CPG category. Gummy manufaturing experience is a major asset.
  • Ownership Mindset: You take full responsibility for delivering results, not just completing tasks.
  • Execution Excellence: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle competing priorities without dropping the ball.
  • Non-technical Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical quality concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Vendor & Partner Management: Experience managing third-party lab relationships and interpreting analytical results.
  • Bias for Action: You don’t wait for direction to fix issues. You see the problem, solve it, and improve the process.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
  • Nice to Have: Experience with Eurofins, NSF Cert for Sport testing, and other supplement certifications.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation including salary and equity
  • Fully paid health, dental and vision insurance
  • 401(k)
  • $250 quarterly wellness stipend
  • Work-from-home Fridays
  • Beautiful office in downtown NYC
  • Additional perks added as the company grows
