About the Role
Company is seeking a Circular Economy Quality Engineer to support quality engineering and continuous improvement initiatives across Mopar & Circular Economy operations. This role works closely with Engineering, Design Release Engineers (DREs), Packaging, Warehouse/Depot Operations, and external service suppliers to drive measurable improvements in product quality, process compliance, warehouse quality performance, and supplier throughput—with required exposure to warehousing, and supplier quality/engineering environments.
If you thrive in cross-functional problem solving and enjoy turning quality issues into lasting improvements, this is a great opportunity to make a direct impact on quality performance and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and support product quality engineering improvements at both design and process levels.
  • Partner with Engineering, suppliers, Packaging Operations, and Warehouse teams to drive quality improvement projects and implement change.
  • Plan and execute process audits and verify corrective actions for compliance to product and process technical requirements.
  • Ensure correct application of process methods and specifications in Packaging and Depot/Warehouse areas.
  • Develop and improve inspection procedures and best practices aligned to Company standards.
  • Recommend and validate rework procedures, ensuring effective containment and prevention of recurrence.
  • Recommend, implement, and verify cost-effective, permanent corrective actions.
  • Work with Design Release Engineers (DREs) on product improvement actions and design-related quality updates.
  • Drive supplier throughput improvement actions and support supplier quality performance.
  • Review and analyze parts returned from dealerships and field PDCs to identify trends and root causes.
  • Process Non-Conformance Tickets (NCT) and issue Quality Control Messages (QCM) as required.
  • Identify and support cost savings initiatives through improved quality performance, reduced rework, and process optimization.

What You Bring (Required Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • Experience in Quality Engineering with exposure to warehousing/depot operations and supplier quality.
  • Experience with process auditing, corrective action verification, and quality improvement implementation.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to influence internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Ability to interpret quality issues, drive containment, and deliver sustainable corrective actions.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in automotive service parts, remanufacturing, recycling, or circular economy environments.
  • Familiarity with structured problem-solving (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, A3) and continuous improvement methods.
  • Lean / Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) experience a plus.
  • Experience working with packaging specifications, warehouse processes, and part return analysis.

Why Join Us
You’ll be part of a growing Circular Economy organization driving sustainability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence—while working hands-on with engineering, operations, and suppliers to improve product and process quality.
