Are you passionate about ensuring quality and regulatory compliance in the food and beverage industry? We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our Export Regulatory and Quality team. This role offers a hybrid work environment in Glenview, IL, just a short commute from Chicago. Enjoy the flexibility of working both remotely and in our office three times a week.

Role Overview

This position is responsible for reviewing nutrition and regulatory compliance and supporting the quality aspects of Heinz products globally. Your expertise will help us maintain high standards and ensure our products meet regulatory requirements across various markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical information and evaluate regulatory compliance of products.
• Review label graphics for regulatory compliance and technical accuracy.
• Support risk assessment activities for existing products in new markets.
• Protect the intellectual property of our products and processes.
• Investigate customer/consumer complaints using root cause analysis.
• Complete customer compliance documentation.
• Provide support for export quality-related issues.
• Manage product specifications, including creation, updates, and changes.

Requirements

• B.S. in Food Science or related scientific field.
• Experience in Regulatory, Nutrition, R&D, or Quality.
• Proficiency in managing specifications and databases.
• Proficient in MS applications.
• Ability to handle complexity and work independently.
• Strong drive for results and project completion.

Preferences

• Experience with export regulations and international markets.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

This is a contract-only position with a typical work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8-hour days, onsite three days per week. The role is set to start ASAP and will last for six months, with no conversion to full-time employment.
