Quality/ Reliability Eng Powertrain

" Implement interim and permanent corrective actions to resolve quality issues using 8D tool, 6 panel, etc. " Manage and direct statistical process control activities " Knowledge of and ability to execute measurement systems analysis & variable data analysis " Identify sources of variation within a production environment effectively and efficiently " Establish tolerance limits and facilitate appropriate corrective actions " Establish and monitor quality target levels for each build " Provide input for design and assembly concepts which will yield nominal variations " Establish critical characteristics for gauging and measuring data collection methods " Determine inspection equipment and facility requirements " Support expedited concern resolution with cross functional teams including the Quality Department, Production and Suppliers " Review internal/external suppliers for critical characteristics process compatibility " Review incoming quality concerns to maintain quality with assigned area; must have experience with initiating containment, determining root cause and implementing corrective actions.

Experience Required:
" Minimum of five years of manufacturing or quality experience " Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision " Ability to lead cross-functional groups to resolve concerns " Strong written and oral communication skills: you will be speaking or presenting to *** leadership or representing *** while engaging with 3rd party suppliers " High level of analytical and statistical skills to trend quality data and take appropriate actions " Ability to positively influence change " Ability to handle complex issues and multi-tasking " Strong organizational skills " Proficiency in using Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Understanding of the concepts and principles surrounding Business Objects, SharePoint, and other ***-specific software.

Experience Preferred:
Manufacturing Quality experience preferred. " Black Belt or Green Belt Certification " Previous quality experience preferred. " Knowledge of Assembly, Machining and Gear processes " Experienced in working with GSAR, Global 8D, Statistical Tools, Data Analytics and BSAQ preferred

Education Required:
High School Diploma / GED
