Our client, a leading health system, is looking for a Quality & Safety Improvement Consultant IV who wants their clinical expertise to translate into real, measurable impact. This is more than a compliance role. You will lead evidence-based improvement initiatives, guide regulatory readiness, and help shape a culture where patient safety comes first, every time.

Job Responsibilities

- Lead consultation and education on clinical quality, patient safety, risk mitigation, and infection prevention
- Design and implement evidence-based programs that reduce variation in care and improve outcomes
- Turn data into decisions through analysis, reporting, and clear presentation of results
- Keep the organization survey-ready and confidently prepared for regulatory review
- Identify risk early and build mitigation plans that protect patients and the organization
- Apply Lean/Six Sigma and other proven improvement tools to drive change
- Serve as the trusted subject matter expert across departments
- Coach and develop others to raise the bar on quality performance

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or related field, plus 4+ years in quality, performance improvement, or a related field (or 7+ years in lieu of degree)
- 1+ year in a leadership role
- 2+ years with databases, spreadsheets, or CQI tools
- 3+ years in a clinical setting or health care administration
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License, California

Preferred:
- Additional clinical license (RN, RPh, PT, OT, SLP, or Social Worker)
- CPHQ, CPPS, or CPHRM certification
- Master's degree in a related field
