We are looking for a Quality Specialist to play a key role in maintaining product quality and supporting daily operations at our Akron site. This position provides hands-on inspection support while also helping strengthen our quality systems to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.


In this role, you will:


+ Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure product quality meets defined standards

+ Provide quality inspection coverage across shifts as needed to support production

+ Review and approve quality documentation, including inspection records and Certificates of Compliance

+ Manage nonconforming materials, including documentation and rework instructions

+ Support calibration programs and ensure measuring equipment is properly maintained

+ Process return material authorizations and support issue resolution

+ Collaborate with production, inspectors, and quality engineering to maintain strong communication and consistent quality standards

+ Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality systems and processes


This role typically works 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, with occasional schedule flexibility (approximately 35% of the year), as well as overtime or weekend support as needed based on business demands.


We are seeking a detail-oriented professional who is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


To be successful in this role, you should have:


+ High school diploma required; additional education in quality, manufacturing, or a related field is a plus

+ Experience or working knowledge of ISO and/or cGMP requirements and quality systems

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)

+ Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across teams while adapting to changing priorities
