Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in Cudahy is currently looking for a Quality Supervisor to join our team! This role will be reporting to our Engineering Manager at our Aerospace Manufactory in Cudahy, CA.

Salary Rate: $100,000 - $120,000 DOE

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support Quality Engineers and Technicians in daily activities.
  • Supervise and assist in managing priorities in the Inspection department
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards, customer requirements, and internal quality procedures, including AS9100 and ISO requirements.
  • Investigate nonconforming materials and products and lead root cause and corrective action activities.
  • Partner with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement preventive measures.
  • Conduct internal audits and support customer, regulatory, and third-party audits.
  • Review and analyze quality metrics, trends, scrap reports, and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure calibration and control of inspection tools and measuring equipment.
  • Train and mentor employees on quality standards, inspection methods, and aerospace compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate quality records and ensure documentation is complete and audit ready.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects and improving process efficiency.
  • Promote and maintain a culture of safety, quality, and accountability throughout the facility.
  • Help drive improvements to the QMS.
  • Lead AS9100 audit preparation and act as an active participant during AS9100 audits.

Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of quality experience in aerospace manufacturing or a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of AS9100, ISO 9001, NADCAP, and aerospace quality standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and specifications.
  • Experience working with nonconformance reports (NCRs), CAPAs, and supplier quality processes.
  • Experience with inspection methods, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality systems.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP or quality management systems.

Preferred Skills
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of customer-specific aerospace requirements.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency with measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMMs.
  • Familiarity with MSA and Gage R&Rs.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis software (i.e. Minitab, JMP, SAS, etc.)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
