  • Supervises the activities of quality assurance team members to achieve optimal levels of safety, quality, productivity, and delivery to assure internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Serves as a role model, leader, trainer, and mentor to immediate staff members.
  • Provides administrative quality support to the Quality Department and the Plant to achieve optimal safety, quality, productivity, and delivery to assure internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for inspection, tests, surveillance and quality operations support
  • Responsible for managing the overall quality auditing program.

 

This Salary role is a part of our plant quality team and reports to the Quality Manager.

Required experience:

  • Knowledge of welding and stamping processes, preferred.
  • Able to train and deliver information to various work groups.
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to learn various computer programs.
  • Understanding and strong knowledge of quality systems, process control, statistical process control (SPC), control plans, work instructions, and product layout.
  • Excellent communication skills as evidenced in colleague relations, team skills, and have the ability to interface directly with the customer to resolve issues.
