    Job Description

Shape Quality Excellence from the Front Line

Picture your morning: by 9 a.m. you've reviewed overnight SPC dashboards, aligned a rapid 8D on a supplier nonconformance, and coached a new APQP control plan before a product launch gate. By mid-day, you're mentoring a quality engineer on PFMEA linkage to control plans and partnering with production to close out a 5 Why on scrap reduction. This is a typical day when you lead our Quality Management System and continuous improvement journey in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    The Role

As our Quality Systems & Continuous Improvement Manager, you will own the plant Quality Management System, elevate performance to world-class standards, and guide a skilled team. You’ll balance customer advocacy with operational pragmatism—ensuring compliance with automotive and industry requirements while driving measurable, sustainable improvements.

    Why You’ll Love Working Here

    • Hands-on access to state-of-the-art equipment
    • Clear pathways to broaden your skills and advance your career
    • A family-oriented culture that values collaboration and respect
    • Stable, full-time opportunity backed by 25+ years of continuous growth
    • Team events year-round: company picnics, baseball, football, and soccer outings, plus team activities
    • Medical, dental, and vision insurance with a generous company contribution
    • Paid life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance
    • 401(k) with a strong company match
    • Paid vacation and sick time
    • Paid holidays

    What You’ll Own

    • Lead and maintain the plant Quality Management System; ensure adherence to customer and industry standards.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve quality, increase efficiency, and lower cost.
    • Manage customer, supplier, and internal quality issues using robust problem solving and corrective actions.
    • Steer quality planning, including APQP deliverables and new product launch readiness.
    • Oversee supplier quality performance and conduct/coordinate audit activities.
    • Build, mentor, and develop the quality team; nurture a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to meet plant and customer quality objectives.

    What You Bring

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
    • 5+ years in manufacturing quality.
    • Background in team lead, supervisory, or management roles preferred.
    • Strong command of IATF 16949 and/or ISO 9001 QMS.
    • Experience with APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, 8D, 5 Why, and Lean methods.
    • Track record of leading root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement projects.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and talent development skills.
    • Ability to prioritize and deliver results in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Six Sigma Green Belt or Shinin certification.
    • Automotive manufacturing experience.
    • Background in metal forming, cold forming, machining, or similar processes.
    • Familiarity with ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
