    Now Hiring - Quality Systems Specialist

    MGS has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Systems Specialist to join our MGS Richfield team.

    As a Quality Systems Specialist at MGS, you are responsible for coordinating the day-to-day Quality Control activities at MGS Richfield, including in-process monitoring, calibration control, control of non-conforming materials and associated records, operator feedback, and sort/rework activities.

    What You'll Do:

    Customer Advocacy & Communication

    • Document, track, and escalate customer feedback to appropriate internal teams for resolution and continuous improvement.
    • Coordinate and issue internal notifications based on customer communications and concerns.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customer satisfaction and process improvements.

    Cleanroom & Environmental Monitoring

    • Monitor and document pressure, temperature, and humidity in cleanrooms.
    • Perform nonviable particulate testing in cleanrooms and maintain data and charts.
    • Maintain annual cleanroom status reports.
    • Ensure cleaning is performed per schedule and that cleaning records are maintained.
    • Review and file reports for pest control program (outside service).

    Metrology Support

    • Utilize Gage Tracking software to maintain Calibration system, including
      • Ordering and numbering of new gages
      • Scheduling gages for calibration per calibration schedule
      • Recording results of calibrations
    • Review and approve calibration certificates from suppliers
    • Initiate and oversee impact assessment process calibration related issues

    Operational Quality & Metrics

    • Assist in compiling and reporting key operational quality metrics, including Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA), Non-Conforming Material, RMAs, Quality Holds, Continuous Improvement initiatives, and Gage Calibration.
    • Support quality initiatives by ensuring accurate data tracking and timely communication of quality performance and improvement opportunities.
    • Support quality activities on the production floor, including but not limited to
      • Defect identification and analysis
      • Nonconformance investigations (defect awareness, checkback, containment, etc.)
      • Product sampling and retain management

    Required Experience:

    A qualified Quality Systems Specialist would fulfill these requirements:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
    • Technical education, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Three years of experience in Quality Assurance.
    • One year of experience in statistical quality methods is preferred.
    • One year of experience in plastics injection molding is preferred.
    • Leadership capability and communication skills.
