Quality Tech - 2nd Shift

2nd Shift Quality Tech
Shift: 2PM-10:30PM
Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Job Summary:
The Quality Tech Assistant is responsible assisting in Quality Department in their procedures to prevent the production of bad or unacceptable products and to maintain all equipment required for assisting the quality control testing.

Job Responsibilities: Responsible for assisting in the monitoring and product food safety and quality throughout the manufacturing processes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the correct recording and filing of all relevant record logs and documentation: Legible handwriting on data sheets, transferring handwritten data to electronic
• Creating samples and performing the testing:
• Using Template or straight edge and box cutter to cut samples (keep in numerical order), Drop test (could be up to 30lbs), Oxi test, Leak test, 750-dimension checks, Coefficient of Friction test and gathering samples
• Other duties as assigned including but not limited to cleaning or sorting

Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent

Working Conditions:

• Must wear proper PPE (Personal and Product Protective Equipment)
• Exposure to moving machinery
• Perform effectively under conditions of fluctuating workload; must respond accordingly

Physical Demands:

• Moderate climbing.
• Alternate stand/sit frequently
• Lifting up to 50lbs.
