Job Description
- Inspect machined parts and finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and coordinate measuring equipment.
- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation.
- Identify defects, non-conforming materials, and production issues.
- Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, and company procedures.
- Work closely with machine operators, CNC programmers, and supervisors to resolve quality concerns.
- Conduct audits of production processes and finished products.
- Monitor quality trends and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
