    Job Description

    The Quality Technician is responsible for conducting routine tests and inspections on products, assisting the Quality Assurance Manager with data collection & supplier claims. The technician performs capability studies, first-piece inspections & records results, as well as assisting with ISO compliance and training. The Technician will work closely with our production employees to ensure that inbound material is correct, and that all outbound products meet quality standards. The Quality Technician participates in special projects as needed and works with other departments to ensure a quality product.

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED required, further education preferred
    • 1+ year of experience in manufacturing
    • Ability to read blueprints/drawings
    • Experience with calipers, micrometers and ability to read a tape measure
    • Ability to work well both independently and with a team
    • Working knowledge of both Microsoft Office and Excel
    • Experience with various computer systems, including ERP Systems or online quality systems
    • Previous experience in CNC, Laser Burning or Oxyfuel Burning preferred
