Summary
The Quality Technician will maintain metrics, analyze information and summarize indicators to identify trends that adversely affect product quality and business performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicate with departments on Non-Conformance / Corrective Action status.
- Support MRB (Material Review Board) activities (Rework, Deviations, Scrap, etc.)
- Help implement quality initiatives and efficiencies
- Collect, analyze and report trends that affect quality
- Prepare performance metrics and quality reports
- Maintain records including SQDC and KPI Boards
- Assist with the preparation of FAIR (First Article Inspection reports
Qualifications/Requirements
- Associates degree, 2 years of college experience or 2 years of experience as a Quality Technician
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated ability to analyze information and identify trends
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency working with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience using light industrial testing equipment, a plus
- Experience using CMM Vision System, a plus
