An immediate opportunity is available for an experienced Quality Technician to support quality assurance and inspection processes within an aerospace manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring products meet rigorous quality standards and comply with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will bring strong quality control experience, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, production, and scheduling teams to maintain product integrity and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-process inspections according to work instructions to ensure product conformity throughout the manufacturing process.
Perform receiving inspections based on work instructions and purchase order requirements to support production operations.
Verify compliance with customer purchase orders, contracts, and required documentation including material and process certifications.
Perform First Article Inspections using AS9102 forms and prepare detailed reports using quality reporting tools.
Collaborate with engineering, scheduling, and production teams to resolve quality concerns and support continuous improvement.
Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions to validate product compliance.
Ensure inspection activities align with aerospace quality standards and internal procedures.
Maintain accurate inspection documentation and quality records.
Support quality audits, documentation reviews, and corrective action initiatives when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
5 or more years of quality control or quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact across multiple levels of the organization.
Solid understanding of basic mathematics required for inspection and measurement activities.
Ability to interpret written instructions, diagrams, specifications, and schedules.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience working in an AS9100 or aerospace-certified manufacturing environment.
Experience with AS9102 First Article Inspection documentation.
Experience in a NADCAP-certified environment.
Background in physical materials testing.
Experience working with composite materials in aerospace manufacturing.
Familiarity with quality documentation software and inspection reporting tools.
