Our client is looking for a Quality Inspector to join their team. Our client is a tier two automotive parts manufacturer that specializes in the production of door locks, seat locks, sunroof rails, and more.
The Quality Technician will be responsible for maintaining product conformity to company manufacturing standards and requirements.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Prior inspection exp.
- Automotive industry exp. preferred.
- Must be able to accurately read blueprints.
- Experience with using quality measuring tools such as micrometer, caliper, height gauge, pin gauge, etc.
- Manufacturing, technical problem-solving / troubleshooting experience.
- Part measurement skills and understanding.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Analyze parts to the drawing and specs to assure conformance.
- Perform production inspection.
- Investigate suspected parts and problems, dispositions, nonconforming parts.
- Issue trouble reports.
- Report on quality system performance.
- Other duties as directed.S
