Our client, a Global provider of electronic design and test solutions company, is looking for a Quality Technician for their Colorado Springs, CO location.
Responsibilities:
- Mechanical inspection of precision machined components.
- CMM (Optical and Touch Probe), Interferometry, Laser Micrometer, and other advanced metrology equipment.
- Calibrations of metrology equipment.
- CAPA Corrective and Preventive Action support in relation to NCR (Non-Conformance Reports) with thorough documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Interpreting specifications including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Work experience in a QC and manufacturing environment is essential.
- Preferred: Lean, Corrective and Preventive Action, root cause investigation, Kaizen (continuous improvement-PDCA) knowledge and understanding
- Preferred: ISO 9001, AS9100, and / or FDA Certifications
- Advanced Metrology
- Programmable optical measurement tools (optical CMM)
- Keyence Image Measurement system
- Interferometers used for surface finish and form analysis
- Laser micrometer
- University degree, specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
