Job Title: Quality Technician / Picker Packer
Job Description
This role supports material flow and supply logistics on the manufacturing floor by accurately picking, packing, and delivering materials, components, and kits to production teams. The position ensures that manufacturing workstations receive the correct parts at the right time to meet build schedules and quality requirements. The successful candidate works comfortably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, maintains high inventory accuracy, and follows established quality, safety, and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
  • Pick, stage, and deliver materials, components, and kits to manufacturing workstations in alignment with production schedules.
  • Support assembly, build, and production teams by replenishing materials in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Verify part numbers, quantities, and work orders prior to moving materials to ensure accuracy and prevent errors.
  • Return unused materials to inventory promptly and accurately after production completion.
  • Pack finished parts, subassemblies, and materials for internal transfer or external shipment, following defined standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventory transactions using ERP, MRP, or other inventory tracking systems.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits to support inventory accuracy and control.
  • Label, store, and organize materials according to warehouse and production standards.
  • Follow established work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality requirements during all tasks.
  • Support cleanroom, ESD, or controlled-environment processes where applicable by following all relevant procedures.
  • Handle materials in accordance with safety guidelines and material handling procedures to prevent damage or injury.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area, demonstrating a 5S mindset and continuous improvement approach.
Essential Skills
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or production environment.
  • Proficiency in inventory handling, including inventory control and basic stock management.
  • Hands-on experience with material handling, including moving, staging, and storing materials safely.
  • Demonstrated ability in picking and packing materials, components, and finished goods.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, pick lists, and basic technical documentation.
  • Basic computer skills, including use of inventory systems, scanners, or ERP tools.
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to approximately 35-50 lbs, with assistance as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and a consistent commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
  • Reliability and dependability in meeting production support and material flow requirements.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with quality control activities related to materials, components, or finished goods.
  • Exposure to audit processes, including participation in inventory or process audits.
  • Familiarity with ERP and MRP systems for inventory and production support.
  • Experience supporting assembly operations in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic proficiency with Excel or similar spreadsheet tools for tracking and reporting.
  • Experience working in or supporting cleanroom, ESD, or other controlled environments.
  • Understanding of 5S principles and continuous improvement practices in a production or warehouse setting.
Work Environment
The role is based in a fast-paced manufacturing environment that supports assembly, build, and production operations. Work is primarily performed on the manufacturing floor and in warehouse or inventory areas, where you handle, move, pick, pack, and stage materials and components. You will regularly use inventory tracking systems, ERP or MRP tools, scanners, and basic computer applications, including spreadsheets such as Excel. The position may involve supporting cleanroom, ESD, or other controlled environments, requiring adherence to specific handling and cleanliness procedures. The work involves standing, walking, and lifting materials up to approximately 35-50 lbs with assistance as needed, while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work area in line with 5S practices.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delray Beach, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
