About the Role:
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Quality Technician to uphold our commitment to excellence in manufacturing. In this critical role, you will support comprehensive quality assurance activities spanning raw materials, in-process production, finished goods, and environmental testing. Your expertise ensures that our products consistently meet all quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct precise quality analyses on raw materials, in-process items, finished products, and environmental samples to verify compliance.
- Monitor testing procedures rigorously, ensuring adherence to established protocols, specifications, and industry standards.
- Analyze test results thoroughly, comparing findings against control limits and specifications, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed quality documentation, including inventory records, data capture forms, and calibration logs.
- Ensure all testing equipment is properly calibrated, validated, and maintained for optimal performance.
- Promote safety by following proper equipment operation practices and adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Perform routine quality checks during assembly, packaging, and testing phases to uphold product integrity.
- Assist in training new technicians, fostering a knowledgeable team environment aligned with quality standards and regulations.
- Evaluate testing methods continuously, identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements.
Qualifications & Skills:- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years experience in Quality Assurance or as a Quality Technician, preferably within a manufacturing or regulated industry.
- Strong understanding of quality standards, testing methodologies, and inspection techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail, with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical data, including GD&T and blueprints.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience working within a Quality Management System (QMS), with a preference for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 knowledge.
