Quality Tech
Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Shift: 2nd Shift, 1:00pm to 9:30pm
The Quality Technician is responsible for performing standardized testing on products to ensure compliance with quality specifications and company standards. This role promptly communicates any out-of-specification results to production personnel and management, assists with the retain sample program, and prepares retain samples for all inbound and outbound loads for six-month storage. The technician maintains accurate records and completes all required documentation following Good Documentation Practices (GDP). This position is an entry level position in a production lab that serves as a resource for production staff and management by providing quality-related information as requested, while proactively communicating safety and quality concerns to plant management and corporate quality teams.
Minimum Experience, Education & Skills Requirements
- Proficiency with Office 365 (primarily Excel, SharePoint, Outlook)

- Clear verbal communicator

Job Duties
- Perform standardized tests on the product
- Notify production and management immediately when product is out of specification
- Assist in managing retain program
- Create Retain samples for all inbound and outbound loads (for 6-month storage)
- Complete paperwork as directed using good documentation practices
- Monitor shared lab email inbox and make sure all emails are responded to in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace
- Perform regular cleaning and maintenance on lab equipment
- Notify Lead and Quality Manager when supplies are running low
- Provide information to production staff and management when requested
- Communicate any safety or quality concerns with plant management and corporate quality
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, walk, reach, squat, push, pull, and climb stairs for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work from elevated surfaces and/or in confined spaces for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
