Quality Technician - Manchester TN 2nd Shift

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes, and plays a critical role in maintaining our high standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality systems and will be familiar with industry-specific regulations such as IATF.

Specific Duties:

- Assist in preparation of required PPAP submissions

- Assures all customer required in house testing is performed and maintained

- Assist in implementation of quality system and compliance to IATF

- Investigate customer quality concerns ( 8D, PRR, Corrective Action Reports, Non Conformance)

- Assist with the monitoring of suppliers to ensure ability to supply quality components and vendor quality standards

- Conduct internal Quality Audits and monitor quality control processes

-Analyze data and report findings to identify trends and areas for improvement.

- Measure and record dimensions and tolerances.

- Collaborate with production teams to identify and address quality issues.

- Maintain quality hold area and logs

- Perform final audit / lot tracking duties as required,

- Review scrap

- Participate in Active response meetings

- Participate in Safe launch/ pre production activities

- Assist production team in training as needed.

- Perform other duties as required to ensure the quality and compliance of our products and processes.

Qualifications

Must have good communication skills, previous quality inspection, knowledge of production environment, knowledge of automotive standards and practices including IATF.

Pay based on experience

Benefits after 60 days

2nd shift - 4 days Monday - Thursday 4:30pm - 3am

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably in a regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals or medical devices.
- Knowledge of quality systems and regulatory requirements .
- Familiarity with vision inspection systems and other quality control equipment.
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and protocols.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Experience with data collection and quality management systems is an asset.
