Work with Supply Quality Engineering and suppliers to address material discrepancies and develop specifications that support production requirements
Analyze and interpret data independently, anticipate potential problems related to material quality, and take preventative actions to support PFMEA activities
Experience within Quality systems in a high-volume Manufacturing environment, with specific exposure to Material Review Board processes (QS-9000, ISO/TS 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, DFMEA, PFMEA preferred, and GD&T knowledge is helpful)
Demonstrated expertise in extensive problem-solving, root cause analysis, and disposition of non-conforming materials, with a strong aptitude for electronic test and measurement systems
Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams, and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices, 5S, TPS, TQM, etc., is highly desired
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Ability to lift and sort parts of up to 30 pounds as needed during MRB activities
Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills, and familiarity with basic MS Word/Excel is required
Ability to use technological tools and business system applications to manage, synthesize, and interpret data related to material quality, and operate relevant personal computing hardware and standard software
