    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Perform a variety of duties to determine that the materials, products and processes are in accordance with print specifications and requirements.
    • Perform dimensional or visual inspection of assemblies, units and components fabricated to the established work order instruction.
    • Assist operators with questions regarding dimensions per the work order
    • Perform specified 1st piece and final inspections per Milcut’s Quality Procedures.
    • Proficient use a variety of precision measuring instruments and test equipment.
    • Perform internal and coordinate external calibrations.
    • Perform all levels of PPAPs per customer requests
    • Investigate and process specific assigned internal nonconformances as requested by the QHSE Director.
    • Assist the QHSE Director in collecting information for corrective action.
    • Assist QHSE Director in reviewing work instructions for content.
    • Assist QHSE Director with tasks related to Quality.

    OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES QUALIFICATIONS

    • Must have a working knowledge of the ISO system as well as a background in Manufacturing
    • Maintain computer literacy on PC using the company’s chosen software products and on in-house systems as applicable to position responsibilities

    • Must have developed blueprints reading skills
    • Must be knowledgeable in the use of measuring devises used in Inspection
    • Must have good people skills

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    High School graduate or general education degree (GED); or 6 months related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before small groups of employees with-in the organization.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to convert fractions and decimals, read a ruler in increments of 1/32” and .01” and calculate material yields.

    REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
