Quality Technician - Metal Manufacturing (2nd Shift)

FALK Panel USA produces insulated metal wall and roof panels used in energy-efficient, durable, and design-forward construction projects. Our manufacturing process is highly technical, project-based, and built around precision. We are looking for detail-focused team members who take pride in making sure every product meets the standards our customers expect.
FALK Panel USA is hiring a Quality Technician for our second shift. This role supports quality checks throughout the production process and helps ensure panels meet specifications before they move forward. The ideal candidate is observant, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a project-based manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect panels and materials for dents, scratches, defects, and other quality concerns
- Verify products meet project specifications and internal quality standards
- Communicate quality issues clearly with production team members
- Support documentation of inspections, issues, and corrective actions
- Monitor production output and identify trends or recurring problems
- Follow safety and quality procedures consistently
- Work closely with production operators, supervisors, and other team members
Qualifications
- Previous quality, manufacturing, inspection, or production experience preferred
- Ability to work independently, self-manage with minimal direction, and serve as the sole quality representative on second shift when a Quality Manager is not present
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify small defects
- Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions or project requirements
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work second shift
- Basic computer skills preferred
Pay and benefits
- Full-time, W-2 position
- Pay: $22-$24 per hour, based on experience
- Additional $2/hour shift differential on top of base pay
- Monthly performance bonus opportunity of up to 12% of base earnings, based on company and/or individual KPI achievement
- 401(k) with 4% company match

- Benefits begin on the 1st of the month following the hire date

- 40 hours of PTO after 90 days
- An additional 40 hours of PTO at 6 months
- An additional 40 hours of PTO after 2 years
- PTO renews annually on January 1, with up to 40 hours eligible for carryover

- Monthly catered lunches

- Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 2:30 PM-12:30 AM
