    Join our team as a Quality Technician! The Quality Technician is responsible for performing quality control activities with a focus on electrical components, systems, and assemblies. This role ensures compliance with specifications, standards, and safety requirements through inspections, testing, and documentation within the assigned organization.


    Roles and Responsibilities:

     

    • Conduct inspections and tests on electrical components, wiring, control panels, materials, equipment and subassemblies to verify compliance with engineering specifications and applicable standards
    • Review and validate documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and test procedures.
    • Use calibrated electrical measurement equipment (e.g., multimeters, megohmmeters) with acceptable repeatability and reproducibility. 
    • Perform functional testing of electrical systems and troubleshoot non-conformances.
    • Document inspection and test results using designated business systems, following applicable procedures and electrical test plans.
    • Participate in job risk analysis and support continual improvement initiatives. 
    • Ensure stability and consistency of test results over time.
    • Maintain good housekeeping and organization within testing and inspection areas.
    • Take personal responsibility for safety and adhere to related Risk Assessments and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
    • Apply principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement in quality processes.

     

     Qualifications and Experience:

     

    • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification in electrical systems preferred.
    • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and procedures.
    • Experience with electrical inspections, testing, or troubleshooting in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and oral instructions.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with quality management systems is a plus.
    • Familiarity with industry standards
    • Prior experience in quality control or electrical testing preferred
