Job Title: Quality Technician Pay rate: $30.00-$40.00 per hour Location: Thomasville, GA 31792 Shift: 1st / Full Time Employment Type: W2/Contract (6-month project that may get extended) Schedule: Hybrid (onsite & remote) #QualityEngineering #AerospaceJobs #ManufacturingQuality Job Summary: Belcan is seeking a Quality Technician to support aerospace quality operations by managing nonconformance and concession activities to ensure production flow and compliance with customer requirements. This role is embedded onsite within customer operations, with potential for direct hire. The ideal candidate has experience interpreting engineering drawings, processing nonconformances, and coordinating disposition and concession approvals. Key Responsibilities: Nonconformance Review & Processing * Review nonconformances against engineering drawings and specifications * Validate inspection data and ensure complete, accurate deviation records * Process discrepancies to prepare for disposition Disposition & MRB Support * Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to determine disposition (use-as-is, repair, rework, scrap) * Support Material Review Board (MRB) activities to drive timely decisions * Improve throughput of nonconforming material processing Concession Management & Compliance * Develop and process concession packages, including technical justification and root cause (as required) * Route approvals and serve as liaison with customer engineering teams * Ensure compliance with AS9100 and internal Quality Management Systems (QMS) Tracking, Closure & Metrics * Maintain ERP/system updates for full traceability of NCR and concession activity * Drive backlog reduction (burndown) and prioritize critical issues Continuous Improvement * Identify defect trends and support corrective actions and process improvements Required Qualifications: * Experience in aerospace quality, manufacturing, or engineering environment * Strong GD&T knowledge and measurement interpretation skills * Ability to read and analyze engineering drawings and CMM reports * Experience documenting technical deviations and coordinating with engineering teams * Strong attention to detail and communication skills * U.S. Citizenship required due to the nature of the work Preferred Qualifications: * Familiarity with Rolls-Royce engineering systems and processes (Pursuit program experience a plus) Belcan provides a competitive pay and benefits package.
