Try new things, learn new skills and discover what you excel at—all from Day One.Job DescriptionCorporate Treasury is a division within the CFO group where part of their responsibility is to provide executive management with accurate, timely, and comprehensive forecasts of the balance sheet, net interest income (NII), and Non-Interest Income Revenue.Corporate Treasury's Asset & Liability Management Quantitative Finance group supports these efforts by developing quantitative models and methods that link the Bank's balance sheet and Income Statement to the broader macroeconomic environment.Our team is seeking a strong, decisive, results-oriented quantitative analyst who will be responsible for building complex statistical models for our income statement.The model‑building process is holistic, and will include estimating, validating, testing, documenting, implementing, and maintaining macroeconomic forecasting model frameworks.These models may cover a variety of bank products and related functions. All models are used as part of Treasury's financial decision-making process.Deliverables include the creation of model development and/or validation documentation such as presentations, written reports, model or reporting code documentation, business requirements, monitoring reports and related code, and procedures.The role also involves communicating modeling approaches and results to stakeholders across the bank.QualificationsBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in a quantitative field, and three or more years of relevant experienceORMA/MS in a quantitative field, and less than three years of related experiencePreferred Skills/ExperienceThorough knowledge of various regression techniques, parametric and non-parametric algorithms, time series techniques, and other statistical models, various model validation tests/methodologies, using Python or similar statistical packageThorough data compilation, programming skills and qualitative analysis skillsThorough knowledge of the quantitative and qualitative risk factors, industry risks, competition risks, and risk management approachesAdvanced understanding of applicable regulatory rules, guidance, or supervisory lettersAbility to manage multiple tasks across various timelinesStrong analytical, organizational, problem‑solving, negotiation, and project management skillsDemonstrated independence, teamwork and leadership skillsEffective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsLocation Expectations: This role requires working from a U.S. Bank Location three (3) or more days per week.BenefitsHealthcare (medical, dental, vision)Basic term and optional term life insuranceShort‑term and long‑term disabilityPregnancy disability and parental leave401(k) and employer‑funded retirement planPaid vacation (from two to five weeks depending on salary grade and tenure)Up to 11 paid holiday opportunitiesAdoption assistanceSick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 80 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by lawSalary range: $92,820.00 - $109,200.00.U.S. Bank is an equal opportunity employer.
