Job Summary:
The Market Place Attendant is responsible for delivering a welcoming, efficient, and high-quality guest experience in a retail food and beverage setting. This role supports daily operations of the Market Place, including grab-and-go food items, beverages, and ice cream offerings, while maintaining cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards consistent with a luxury resort environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Greet guests warmly and assist with grab-and-go food, beverage, and ice cream selections
• Operate point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently
• Restock food, beverage, retail, and ice cream displays to ensure availability and proper presentation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, coolers, freezers, and guest spaces
• Monitor product quality, freshness, and expiration dates
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines
• Support a positive, polished, and guest-focused environment
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in food service, retail, or hospitality preferred
• Strong guest service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate items
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
Work Environment:
This position is based in a retail food and beverage setting and may involve standing for extended periods, working with refrigerated/freezer equipment, and interacting with guests throughout the shift.
